Chart dominator and prolific award grabber Adele has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with current love Simon Konecki.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer confirmed the news via an official staement on her website, it read, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”

Adele and her 36 year old lover Simon have been dating for the last couple of years and are also rumoured to be getting engaged in the near future.

A massive congratulations to the both of you and we expect to see Adele’s new album, 7lbs 2Oz, out wihtin the year
