Rumours keep coming around regarding who will be the next super star to place their expensively pampered rear onto one of the famous judges seats on the US X Factor panel.

Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and now Avril Lavigne are all rumoured to have been ‘shortlisted’ by Simon Cowell and his fellow suit wearers at the Fox network but as of yet no confirmation has been released regarding any new faces on the show.

Avril is allegedly keen, like everyone, to take part on the show and feels she could offer some valued advice to the contestants considering she has been in the business since a very young age. The ‘Complicated’ singer appeared on the last season of the show to perform a duet with third place contestant Chris Rene but she is hoping she will be on the opposite side of the stage next year.
