Hollywood star Christian Bale has taken time out of his hectic promotional schedule to visit the victims of the shocking Colorado theatre shooting.

The star of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ allegedly chose to visit the injured victims on his own accord and spent time speaking with individuals as well as posing for pictures and signing autographs.

On Friday, Bale spoke of the tradgedy, which saw 14 people killed and 50 others injured, he said “Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.”

It was also recently announced that Warner Bros are set to offer the shooting victims a substancial donation after one of the survivors expressed their desire to sue the mega rich film studios due to the fact that one of their friends was killed during the shooting.
