Cult BBC TV hit Being Human is set to return for an exciting and fresh series 4.
The series has followed the excitingly terrifying adventures of a Ghost, a Vampire and a couple of Werewolves since the show first aired in 2009 and has received a BAFTA for Best Drama series in 2010 and continual rave reviews throughout.
After 3 successful series the show is set for a revamp in 2012 after a number of the main stars have decided to move onto bigger & brighter pastures. Gothic themed vampire Mitchell, played by ladies favourite Aiden Turner, was killed off at the end of the last series after winning a role in upcoming box office smash ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’. Russell Tovey, who plays George the werewolf, and Sineed Kineen, who plays George’s werewolf partner, have also recently announced that they will be parting ways with the show after this fourth series and moving onto other projects.
This has paved the way for show creator Toby Whithouse to introduce some new characters to the show whilst also writing the exits of its current big stars.
Lenora Critchlow is set to remain in her role as Annie the friendly Ghost while Michael Socha, who appeared in series 3 as Robson Green’s characters son Tom, will play a more regular role. Actor Damien Maloney is set to step into the departed Mitchell the vampires shoes as ‘Hal’ while ‘Harry Potter’ star Mark Williams will also appear.
This show is a big favourite of The BizzNiz and we can’t wait for it’s return to BBC3 this spring!
