As we are sure you are all aware by now, superstar diva Beyonce and Hip Hop legend Jay Z welcomed their new arrival into the World on Saturday night. The couple have allegedly chosen the name Blue Ivy Carter for their new born with early reports claiming they had gone with Tiana May.
Queen B endured the pains of natural labour at New York’s Lennox Hospital and gave birth to 7lbs Blue Ivy with hubby Jay by her side. The couple had allegedly splashed out £840,000 to hire the whole wing and its staff with reports suggesting that security had collected all mobile phones and covered all security cameras with tape in order to maintain the privacy of the couple.
Close friends took to social networking site Twitter to offer their congratulations over the weekend including Gwyneth Paltrow who tweeted, “”Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.” Cheryl Cole added her congratulations by tweeting, “”Congratulations to Beyonce and Jay on the birth of their first child.

An official announcement is yet to be made by the couple and media organisations are said to be fighting to be the first to reveal snaps of the superstar tot!
