Alex James, the bassist for 90′s hit band Blur, has sparked rumours that the band are looking to schedule a tour for 2012.

The band, who were fronted by Gorillaz creator Daman Albarn, are set to perform a ‘one-off show’ at next years Brit Awards to celebrate their award for outstanding contribution to Music and, according to James, met for a ‘cuppa’ last week to discuss the possibility of embarking on a full tour. Alex said, “We all remembered how much we loved being a band. I had always said in interviews I didn’t miss being in a band, but that reminded me that I did.” he continued “ Who knows what will happen, but there is a lot to look forward to.”

It seems to be the perfect musical climate for bands to reform at the moment, Steps did it and there’s talk of S Club 7 jumping on the re-union train to!
