Hollywood funny man Jim Carrey has pulled out of the proposed follow up to hit 1994 comedy ‘Dumb & Dumber’

The ‘Mr Poppers Penguins’ star has allegedly moved away from the project after disagreements with New Line and Warner Bros after they showed a lack of interest in the project.

Jim officially confirmed the news by releasing a statement, he said ”I would have thought Dumb and Dumber To was a no-brainer, after all it’s implied in the title.”

Movie director Peter Farrelly was hoping the original hit pairing of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, which helped the first  film scoop £177 million at the box office, would reunite for the second instalment but it now appears plans may have to go on hold while the finer details are ironed out.
