The Idol rumour mill has been pumping out speculation ever since the last season finished and the reports are that sexy latino singer Jennifer Lopez and screaming rocker Steven Tyler will not be returning for another season. This has then opened the gossip door for various ‘Celebs’ to be linked to the roles.
Sheen only recently returned to US screens with comedy ‘Anger Management’ which proved a huge ratings hit for broadcasting channel FX claiming 6 million viewers on its opening show. Now, after Charlie and Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe hit it off at a recent meet, the rumours are focused on the alleged reformed drug addict. Charlie seemed open to the idea in a recent interview confirming his interested in his own peculiar way, the star said “If the numbers move the needle AND Idol matches 20 per cent of my weekly salary for (charities) Autism Speaks, JDRF, and the Boys & Girls Club… then the hell with it.”
What do we think, is Charlie right for the job? Who would you like to see on the panel?
