Former X Factor contestant and Big Brother house mate Frankie Cocozza has decided to ditch his greasy looking mop of hair for a more clean cut style.

The troubled 19 year old, who was booted off of last years X Factor series for drug use, was known for his hefty barnet but has now decided to let people actually see the face beneath the bush with a short back and sides cut.

Frankie was styled by celeb hairdresser Jamie Stevens who took to his Twitter account to reveal plans for the new’do, he tweeted ”I’m going to be giving @FrankieCocozza a new re-style today. The mop is going. I’ll be tweeting live pics later as it happens. x.”

Cocozza, who is known for his lady conquests, is hoping his new style might help him attract the attentions of former Towie star Amy Childs who he is rumoured to be chasing.
