The Rovers Return is set for another change of ownership.

Steve MacDonald decides to sell his bar in order to sort out his finances. Stella & Karl decide it’s a perfect opportunity for them especially as Stella has been the manager of the bar for a while now.

Michelle Collins told Lorraine today: “I’ve had my name above the door for quite a while now as manager, but now she’s actually going to own it. They struggle to get the money together to get a mortgage. They’re turned down by a few people because they’re ‘too old’. But then you’ll see what happens. It’s quite exciting, being the owner of The Rovers.

Expect to see more to Stella’s character in 2012. There are alot of exciting times ahead for Stella & Karl, especially with Karls gambling which is a big problem.
