Hollywood heart throb Johnny Depp has allegedly jetted out to the South of France in order to try and rekindle his romance with former long term lover Vanessa Paradis.

The pair officially announced their split last month but are keen to try and hold together a stable base for their two children Lily Rose, 13, and Jack, 9.

Depp, 49, is believed to have recently bought Vanessa a heart shaped pendant with the words ‘My Heart is Always With You’ scribed on the back suggesting the ‘Pirates Of The Carribean‘ star is struggling to get to grips with the former couples split.

A source close to the pair told UK tabloid The Sun, “They are having a family holiday to show the kids they are still a strong family even if those two are split or not. But the fact he presented her with such a touching gift, it’s almost as if they could make another go of things. Johnny wants to be with his family, he’s a very family orientated man. His kids mean everything to him. What they need more than anything is to get together far away from Hollywood and that is what they are doing.”
