Michael is running late for baby Scarlett’s hospital appointment today. He has locked himself out of the house and then his taxi doesn’t turn up! Oh dear, good job Alfie is a caring man, he saves the day despite the pairs recent animosity.

Over at the hospital, Janine feels abandoned and alone. When Michael finally does show up, she doubts his excuses for being late. Could this be the the end of their relationship?

Meanwhile, eager for some fun, teenage mum-to-be Lola drags Jay along to the cafe. She pretends to go into labour in order to score free drinks. When the plan works, they head over to McCunky’s. However Nico isn’t easily as fooled, and later Lola flies into a rage during a row, causing Nico to back into a shelf and damage his stock.

The young pair bond when Lola allows Jay to feel her baby kick, and they share a tender kiss. But soon after, the police arrive to arrest Lola on suspicion of criminal damage!

Shirley is stunned to learn from Denise that she has become a grandmother, but daughter Carly is not interested in any reconciliation. To ease the heartache, Shirl turns to the bottle.
