We’ve all known where the murder weapon that killed Heather Trott has been hidden for months now…but on Eastenders it takes them a little longer to figure it out. Finally red head mechanic Jay knows as much as us!

After discovering the photo frame that Ben used to kill Heather under the bed, Jay has a sleepless night. Heading off to work early to avoid his ‘brother’, he later reveals the crime weapon and demands to know why he still has it.

Ben tries pathetically to make his excuses, yet Jay is having none of it and storms off, heading straight for the police station. It’s clear that Jay is ready to turn Ben in, but will someone prevent him from going through with it?

 Also on the square, Kat tells Alfie that she is going to an evening class at the community centre. Of course, we all know she is planning on seeing her mystery lover. How will Kat react when Jean insists on tagging along?!

Zainab gets worried when AJ starts asking questions about her relationship with Masood, she is desperate for him not to find out that the pair are no longer married. Yet Masood is loving having his brother with him, and joins him for lunch, much to Zainab’s disgust!

After a cosy drink with Denise in the Vic, AJ is amused but relieved to learn of his brother’s marital status;it makes him feel more at ease about confessing the real reason for his visit- his wife has kicked him out!

Janine is home today, and keen to make things up to Jean by writing her a cheque….
