It has been confirmed today that the self proclaimed ‘King Of Media’ Howard Stern will take over from Piers Morgan on the next series of America’s Got Talent.
Howard was presented with his contract for the show by his agent Don Buchwald during his radio show on Sirius XM earlier today.
The controversial DJ, who is known for his straight talking no nonsense approach, will join the current judging panel of Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel when the show kicks off next year. Speaking of his appointment Howard said: “This nonsense of Howie and Sharon putting through less-than-talented people has got to stop. Under my administration there will be no Frank Sinatra impersonators winning for the year. If people think I’m the crazy man, I am not. I am the voice of reason… Goofy acts are not going” The 57 year old continued: ”I’m going to be Piers [Morgan] on steroids,” Stern vowed. “It’s going to be a no-nonsense judge… I’m going to go there as a serious judge… It’s gonna be something else… I am very excited.”
Will Howard be the right replacement for Piers, who knows, one thing that is for sure is ‘Sterny’ definitely needs to do something with that hair, damn!
