Katie Price has announced that she plans to wed current lover and Argentinian heart throb Leandro Penna.

Penna allegedly proposed to Katie during a recent skiing holiday after she was spotted wearing a pink diamond ring when the pair stepped out for a romantic dinner earlier this week. A spokesman from Price’s camp confirmed the engagement saying, “”It’s true – they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently – and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while, No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.”

Price and Penna hooked up after meeting at Sir Elton Johns Oscar party last February and have had an on-off romance since. This will be Katie’s third marriage attempt after both her marriages to ladies favourite Peter Andre and cage fighter Alex Reid failed to last.

Reid, who was married to Katie for 11 months and is now expecting a baby with current love Chantelle Houghton, has spoken out about the marriage saying that “it won’t last”, a friend of the Celebrity Big Brother winner said, “Alex thinks it’s a good thing Katie and Leandro talk different languages and don’t understand each other because he doubts Leandro would stay long, Alex loved Katie and was devastated when they split; he did everything he could to make it work and Kate was very cruel during the split.”

Katie needs to be careful as she may start to develop a reputation as a bit of a man-eater!
