Pop superstar Lady GaGa has been named the highest earning Female in Music by Forbes raking in a cool £60 million!

The chart dominator can thank the legions of ‘Little Monsters’ across the globe that follow her every move and part with their hard earn cash to snap up her latest CD or catch her newest live show.

The ‘Marry The Night’ singer took home nearly double the next star on the list Taylor Swift and almost three times more than Rihanna’s ‘meesley’ £18 million. ‘Circle The Drain’ singer Katy Perry came in third with £28 million and yummy mummy to be Beyonce was fourth with £22 million.

Nice to see all these stars struggling through the recession like the rest of us!

The star learnt that her Twitter account had been briefly hacked yesterday. While the ‘Paparazzi’ singer was on a trip to Tokyo, to perform at a one-off concert on December 23rd, a hacker got control of the stars Twitter account.

The secret computer controller sent a message to all of her 17 million followers saying, “Monsters, I’m giving away FREE iPad2′s to each one of you in the spirit of the holidays .”

Luckily, Gaga representatives regained control and stopped the Tweeting madness before it got out of control. Gaga later tweeted, “Phew. The hacking is over! And just in time, I’m on my way to Japan! So excited to spend Xmastime with my TokyoMonsters!”
