19 year old Hannah Montana star and singer Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she is engaged to actor and ‘The Hunger Games’ star Liam Hemsworth.

The pair have reprotedly been dating for three years and Liam is said to have popped the question on May 31st presenting Miley with a 3.5 carrot diamond ring from top jeweller Neil Lane. Miley expressed her delight on the engagement saying “”I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.”

The loved up pair met in 2009 whilst filming ‘The Last Song’ with Liam, 22, admitting that they just couldn’t help falling in love with each other. The actor said, “What happened happened, and we’ve been together since. She makes me really happy. When you start, you want to be professional, but when you’re filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you’re not human if you don’t feel something.”
