Check out the awesome new video from upcoming Glaswegian born singer/songwriter Lizzie Nightingale.
‘Footsteps’ is taken from Lizzie’s current EP ‘Tiny Teardrops’ which is out now.
After a successful stint working alongside Libertine Gary Powell, Scottish singer-songwriter Lizzie Nightingale has decided to spread her wings and go solo for the release of her forthcoming E.P ‘Tiny Teardrops‘. Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, Lizzie spent her early years doused in the edgy sounds of Eurythmics, Kate Bush and Bowie as well as a few Motown classics courtesy of her mother (who was a singer and performer). Harmonies and melodies came easily to her and after studying music theory and everything major to minor in between, the music bug took control.
With her musical goals firmly in sight, Lizzie released a compilation of demo tracks. She gained immediate support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and Galaxy FM and sold thousands in the UK and Japan. The success of these tracks also led to a Maida Vale session for BBC Radio 1. Her new EP, ‘Tiny Teardrops’, is the result of Lizzie finding her own individual sound, and after months of writing and developing, this timid yet vivacious Scottish girl is gearing up to showcase her raw and real talent.
This young lady has a bright future ahead of her; being a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, and with her flawless vocal skills, she ticks all the boxes required for success. Look out for her on a stage near you, backed by her band, the mighty Remedies (Ed Sheeran, Mikill Pane). Live is how Lizzie does it best.
