The BizzNiz are excited to bring you the brilliant new sounds of five piece Indie Rock outfit Idle Revival.
The lads from Northern Ireland, who formed in 2010, have been busy laying down vocals, bass, guitar and all the other melodic elements that make up their debut album, ‘High Times For Stationed Minds’, over the last year and look set to bring their twist of Indie Rock to the masses.
The 3 tracks that we have been lucky enough to hear, ‘Trippin’ Over The World’, ‘Better Self’ and ‘Hostile’, showcase the obvious talent that combines to create a sound that can be compared to bands like The Manic Street Preachers and The Editors.
‘Trippin’ Over The World’ is a high tempo, guitar heavy track that will have you nodding your head and ‘air drumming’ throughout. ‘Better Self’ , although up beat, has a more ‘moody’ undertone that discusses all the endless temptations that pull us away from, like the title of the track suggests, being your better self. ‘Hostile’ takes a slower approach with an off beat drum loop and monastic themed chants that prove this band are definitely versatile, dynamic and fresh.
2012 looks to promise big things for Idle Revival with their debut EP on its way and a host of live shows lined up, including already playing the Riverside Festival last Summer, these guys should prep themselves for success!
You can find out more info on the band by visiting their official website. Alternatively you can follow them on Twitter, @Idle_Revival, or hook up with their official Facebook page.
