Super hit UK duo the Pet Shop Boys recently returned to the UK from Los Angeles with the excting news that they have recorded their brand new studio album entitled “Elysium” and it is set for release in September.
The album was co-produced by Pet Shop Boys with the young American engineer/producer, Andrew Dawson, who has won three Grammy awards for his work on Kanye West’s albums. The Pet Shop Boys spoke about the album recently saying, “We wanted to make this album in a different environment. Despite frequent visits there we have never made an album in Los Angeles. Working there with Andrew Dawson has enabled us to make a very fresh-sounding album.”
The ‘West End Girls’ singers are yet to announce the lead track from the album but have released a short film showcasing the sound of the record and containing one of the band brand new tracks ‘Invisible‘. You can check out the short film, directed by Brian Bress, right here….
