I mentioned last week that mini Funk god Prince has recently signed a deal with minor Swiss record label Purple Music. This deal will reportedly see the ‘Exrtaloveable’ singer release 3 albums worldwide.

Imagine my excitement when I opened my inbox to see an email from Purple Music entitled Prince ‘Dance 4 Me’!

Thanks to the guys over there I can bring you the full info on Prince’s first release through the dance music label. Originally a track on Mr.Nelson’s 2009 double album LotusFlow3r/MPLSound, it is reported that the genius has re-worked the track and included various remixes from current dance producers David Alexander and Brian Matrix helping to catapult the song into the 2011 club market.

DANCE 4 ME is a mix between Funk, House and a big room sound that will appeal not only to Prince fans but also the whole new club generation… they will love it!

Whenever Prince releases new music those within the industry always label it as a ‘Comeback’. Being a huge fan I know the legendary singer/songwriter/producer and multi instrumentalist never went away but has, thankfully, just decided to share some of his inspiring music with his purple hippies once more!

The single, including remixes, is scheduled for Worldwide release on December 9th!!
