A few months ago The BizzNiz brought you the news that film bosses were planning to revive 1987′s cult classic action movie ‘Robocop’.

Over the last few days more details have emerged confirming that the movie revamp is a definite ‘GO’ with various stars joining the cast.

It is being reported today that the ‘Avengers Assemble’ star and possibly the coolest man on the planet Samuel L Jackson has joined other stars Gary Oldman and Joel Kinnaman on the list of actors for the film.

Jackson is allegedly down to play TV mogul Pat Novak with Kinnaman taking the lead role of Alex Murphy, the character who eventually becomes Robocop after a fatal accident, while Oldman will play the metal law enforcer’s creator.

I don’t know about you but I am excited about this, being a huge fan of the originals, I can only hope that they do it justice.
