Classic TV quiz show Catchphrase looks set for a 2012 revamp as talks are under way to bring Mr Chip back onto our screens.

ITV are allegedly in talks with show owners DRG regarding the come back and Roy Walker, who hosted the show for 13 years, is also in talks to front the show. Mr Chip, the show’s official animated mascot, is also set to return,

Catchphrase ran for a total of 16 years and was a popular Saturday night choice for millions of households across the UK. The main aim of the game was to try to guess ‘well known’ phrases that had been animated in return for precious pounds.
