E!’s Oscar correspondent Ryan Seacrest has spoken out for the first time about the now infamous ‘Ashes’ incident that took place on the Red Carpet yesterday whilst he was interviewing Sacha Baron Cohen character General Aladeen.
The BizzNiz brought you the cringe worthy footage of the incident ,that took place at yesterdays 83rd annual Oscars ceremony, earlier today and Ryan has now said that he did not expect that to happen.
Seacrest spoke of the incident on his KIIS-FM raido show saying, ”I definitely did not know that he was going to do that,” he explained. “He comes over, and I asked him a couple of questions, but, you know that feeling in your gut. You feel like, ‘This is going too normally’. I saw the urn coming up. It was getting closer to my chest, and then it tipped over, and it wasn’t the wind. He spilt it on my tuxedo.”
Luckily Ryan had decided to bring a second suit jacket to the ceremony, as you do, so was able to continue his coverage of the event reasonably unscathed.
