Former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon has given birth to her second son.

The Dagenham born singer, who already has son Zac, is said to be recovering and both mother and baby are reported to be healthy and well with Aaron Barnham, the stars fiancé and ‘new daddy’ by their side. Stacey’s publicist Max Clifford spread the word of the birth via social networking site Twitter yesterday, he tweeted, “”Congratulations to our lovely client @5taceysolomon who gave birth to a baby boy earlier today, both baby and mum are doing well.”

Solomon may feel she has a lot to prove after she was heavily criticised a recently for smoking while pregnant and was quickly removed from the Celebrity Mum of the year contest.
