Former chart topping Girl band The Spice Girls are set to re-unite later today in order to promote their upcoming Musical ‘Viva Forever’.
The 5 piece group consisting of, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Haliwell will meet up in London for the first time since their 2008 re-union tour. Despite rumours, Mrs Beckham will be joining the girls for the promotional campaign with early reports suggesting her work schedule would prevent her from joining up with her former singing partners. A source said “There’s been rumours knocking about that Victoria wasn’t going to show – but she always made it a priority. She was never going to miss the launch and is looking forward to seeing the rest of the girls. The musical is a proud moment for them all. It will be emotional.”
‘Viva Forever’ follows the story of a Mother and Daughter who attempt to follow their dreams via a TV talent show. Brit comedienne Jennifer Saunders has penned the script and the Musical looks set to open in December.
