Twitter Fills The MySpace Void

twitterSuper popular micro blogging site Twitter has launched a new section of it’s website directly aimed and musicians.

It seems Twit bosses are looking to fill the ever increasing void being left by the decline of the once popular MySpace. Twitters aim seems to be to offer Musicians advice on how to make the most of their official profile after it was revealed that, super duper mega star Lady Gaga earned a reported £18.9 million ($30 million) directly from her Twitter account which boasts 20 million followers.

The new ‘scheme’ advises users to use photo’s in their tweets, create official hashtags for their tours and reply to their fans. It also suggests that bands make use of the account themselves rather than allowing their PR agency to tweet for them.
