Twitter To Get iPhone App Revamp!

New Twitter Logo 2012Social networking giants Twitter have revealed plans to revamp their iPhone app.

The upgrade, which is set to be launched some time within the next ten days, will allegedly offer the user a more interactive experience with numerous other ‘user friendly’ features to be added.

The high traffic micro blogging site has reportedly come under fire recently due to the lack of ‘power-use features’ within its app. Now, Tweet bosses are set to respond to their critics with an update that will see improved features relating to notifications, trends and better search performance.

The official release notes where allegedly leaked recently and they detailed plans to create a more ‘interactive tweet view’ experience which aims to deliver more videos, previews and images when users Tweet about any of Twitters partner sites.

Other improvements include a more advanced ‘Connect’ tab which will offer an autocomplete option as well as allowing users more control over their push notifications. The ‘Discover’ tab will now alert users when new content becomes available while ‘Trends’ will be more ‘User specific’.

Twitter hope any issues with the new look setup will be ironed out before Apple releases its iOS6 update.
