Here’s what’s happening week beginning 25th June on Emmerdale
It’s a massive week for Gennie. Not only is she secretly pregnant by her boyfriend Nikhil but now she also knows about Chas and Cameron’s affair. Unable to bring herself to tell Debbie, Gennie warns Chasron to end it else she’ll spill. So Chas and Cameron decide to do a runner but will their plan work?
Gennie meanwhile is still trying to pluck up courage to tell Nikhil he’s going to be a dad but when wires get crossed, Nikhil’s convinced he’s about to get dumped again so gets in there first and tells Gennie its all over. Nikhil’s in for a shock though when Charity reveals that Gennie is pregnant!
Nikhil has to shape up sharpish and goes to the factory to propose. Gennie is about to say yes until she realises he knows about the baby. Thinking that’s the only reason he’s asking, Gennie soon hands the ring back but Nikhil’s not giving up without a fight and goes all out crazy to win back the woman of his dreams.
While his brother celebrates impending fatherhood, Jai isn’t very happy that Chas doesn’t want any more children and gets annoyed when she interferes in his parent’s marriage. A final bust up sees a drunken Jai getting a fed-up Rachel drunk and having his wicked way with her on the office floor. Classy!
Eric finds himself in hospital when he gets run over by Val on a moped. Val buys the moped for Amy’s 18th birthday but when a row starts, she loses control and mows down her estranged husband. At least its not all bad for Val as she’s started to flirt with Rishi.
Meanwhile Alicia and David’s lies about their wedding continue to grow , Ali’s jealous of how close Ruby and Laurel have become and Paddy’s having a midlife crisis when Robbie thinks he’s Leo’s granddad.
