We all love a bit of soap gossip, so here’s a sneak preview of what’s to come next week on Hollyoaks. (week beginning 12th March)

A desperate George tries to escape Deena and Graham’s clutches, but the pair have put together a malicious plot to make sure they will get what they want. Cheryl finds herself under pressure to prove her academic credentials in a business competition, but would-be entrepreneurs Ste and Doug also plan to enter. Meanwhile, Annalise and Rob insist they are over each other.

George faces the darkest moment of his life as he is held captive by Deena and Graham. Cheryl’s inability to juggle the demands of her job with her degree deadlines results in a mix-up at the club. Annalise throws herself into the business competition to avoid thinking about her recent split with Rob, and Amy tries to help Ste and Doug settle their differences in time for the contest.

Tensions run high as the day of the business competition arrives, but Ste and Doug worry their chances of success are low after annoying Tony. Perfectionist Annalise is quietly confident she could win, and with her university place at risk, Cheryl hopes to prove herself as a serious entrepreneur. Meanwhile, Callum and Maddie worry about George, and Scott tries to help Rob get over his recent break-up.

Rob becomes determined to prove he is over his break-up while out drinking with his rugby friends, but his efforts threaten to place him in conflict with his new team-mate Will. Meanwhile, Annalise enjoys a bonding session with Cheryl and Lynsey, who try to teach her how to relax.

Rob causes outrage when he crosses a line, and the appalled sixth-formers decide they must respond, but the student must first admit to his troubles. Meanwhile, Mitzeee tries to influence Riley’s custody case by causing problems between Mercedes and the other McQueens.
