Here is your weekly insight into what’s going to be happening in Hollyoaks (week beginning 16th April)
Jen sweeps Tilly off her feet with a trip to the beach, but the love-struck teenager is mortified when she discovers the truth about why her new sweetheart has taken up residence in the village. George’s battle for a place at college pushes him further away from Phoebe, and Sinead is annoyed when Diane reveals she has taken on a lodger. Meanwhile, Myra tries to put an end to the feud between her, Mercedes and Jacqui by inviting the latter over for dinner.
George panics about his forthcoming presentation and is convinced he will mess it up, giving Phoebe an opportunity to find her way back into his affections. However, her plan to buy him some time by starting a fire at the college has terrible consequences for Tilly, who places herself in danger while trying to avoid Jen.
Maddie realises Tilly is missing, and places her own safety at risk to rescue her. A furious George leaves Phoebe to face the consequences of her rash actions alone, and she becomes convinced he has told the college authorities she was the one who started the fire. Meanwhile, Scott is left heartbroken when Annalise insists they have no future together.
George decides to cut his ties with Phoebe, but Jacqui remains determined to help her, much to Rhys’s annoyance. Ash gives Annalise a pep talk when she realises the extent of her true feelings for Scott, and Barney musters the courage to make amends with his parents.
Ash decides to play Cupid, packing Annalise’s bags and sending her off to London to tell Scott how she really feels. Rhys makes Phoebe less than welcome when she moves into her new home, and enlists the aid of the other McQueens to talk some sense into Jacqui. However, the plan is derailed when Mercedes turns up, and the feuding sisters end up coming to blows again.
