Here’s what’s happening week beginning 23rd July on Emmerdale

There’s a shock in store for Rachel this week as she discovers she is pregnant after a one-night stand with married Jai Sharma. When she tells the dad-to-be, he’s gob smacked and they agree on a termination but soon both are having second thoughts.

Charity picks up on Jai’s mood but he blames Nikhil’s constant chatter about his baby. At the last minute, Jai goes to see Rachel and begs her to reconsider. Rachel agrees to keep the baby but worries about the ramifications as she and Jai are now tied together. How will it affect those around them?

Robbie’s not making life easy for himself. He’s upset Katie with his leering and remarks and his boss Carl isn’t happy with him either for bunking off for the day with Priya. So what does he do…gets a load of mates round to Home Farm and starts playing with the guns. Declan and Megan are furious and it looks like Robbie’s on his way out. Will they let Robbie leave or beg him to stay?

Cameron takes Debbie by surprise when he proposes to her – in full view of Chas and the rest of the Woolpack. Debbie asks for more time. Will she say yes?

Marlon tells Paddy and Rhona that he’s changed his mind about joining them in New Zealand. They are shocked and wonder what or who has changed his mind.

Jimmy comes home to the news that Kelly wants Elliott back but Nicola suggests fighting for custody. Carl’s not happy that Jimmy is distracted and the business is suffering. Seeing an opportunity, Charity and Rishi plot to get their feet under the desk at King’s Haulage.

Alex and Moira enjoy some flirting up at the farm, Bob and Jude start to train for the 10k run and Ali’s shocked when Amelia starts to be interested in religion and wants to be christened.
