Once again our Emmerdale insider has dished the dirt to The BizzNiz on what’s coming up this week in the Dales.
Here’s what’s happening week beginning 6th August on Emmerdale
The weeks starts with Paddy and Rhona’s stag and hen parties that happen to take place at the same time in the same place. Paddy gets drunk and makes a speech about his and Rhona’s forthcoming adventures that proves too much for Marlon. When the heartbroken chef tries to tell his best friend how unhappy he is, drunken Paddy just laughs it off – which only makes Marlon worse.
Incensed, Marlon resigns from his post as best man and goes to a solicitor for legal advice. Paddy is devastated and spends most of his wedding day wishing his best mate was there, much to Rhona’s annoyance. Will Marlon turn up – of course he will. But the newlyweds may not like what he has to say when he’s there!
Jai has still not told Charity that he’s got cleaner Rachel pregnant. He’s waiting for the ‘right time’. To try and calm Rachel down, he offers to buy her a swanky flat in Leeds but the mum to be insists she isn’t for sale and starts to doubt Jai’s involvement.
Charity and Rishi move swiftly ahead with their plan to take over the King’s business by winning a contract Jimmy and Carl were after. Charity brokers a deal that gives the King’s the contract but only if they give her a share of the business. With the brothers backed into a corner, Charity soon starts talking about changes – including sacking Edna!
At the wedding reception, Chas makes a move on Dan after seeing Cameron all loved up with Debbie. Dan knows she is out of his league but still tries his luck.
Talk of trying your luck, Alex abandons Victoria at the wedding to go and check on Moira. Seems she needs the kiss of life though as her and Alex are soon locking lips. What will the neighbours’ say?
