Here’s what’s happening week beginning 13th August on Emmerdale
After sharing a sneaky snog last week, Mucky Moira and farmhand Alex are still playing with fire…until Moira’s son Adam returns home. Will that douse the flames of passion? Not flaming likely!
Talking of passion, Dan is smitten with Chas and even her (and we) know he’s well out of her league, Dan is surprised when Chas asks him out. After heading out for the day in Dan’s camper van, Chas plants a kiss and suddenly announces Dan is her boyfriend to the whole of the Woolpack – including her ex Cameron!
One couple not feeling the love is former best friends Paddy and Marlon. With Marlon taking out a court order to stop Paddy and Rhona taking his son Leo to New Zealand, things go from bad to worse when Rhona realises why Marlon doesn’t want to go with them anymore. She sees an intimate moment between Marlon and Laurel and puts two and two together. Paddy and Rhona confront Marlon and try to blackmail him into letting them go with Leo in return for their silence but Laurel decides she will tell husband Ashley herself. Easier said than done, eh Laurel.
Amy’s mum Kerry plans a family meal at Pollards but things start to go downhill for Brenda when Val gatecrashes. Val takes Pollard on a walk down memory lane, winding Brenda up even more. It’s not long until Val and Eric are getting very close, close enough for Val to plant a kiss. Brenda sees the whole thing and is soon packing her bag. But has Val won that easily?
Meanwhile Zak and Lisa struggle to get their marriage back on track. Lisa’s hurt when she finds out Zak has been confiding in Megan rather than talking to his wife. Is this the end of the line for the indestructible Dingles?
