Here’s what’s happening week beginning 23rd April on Emmerdale
Laurel is very wary of leaving Ashley alone with Sandy and the children in the wake of the Evil Rev’s attack on his father. When she tells people Sandy is ill, Rachel accuses her of covering up what’s been going on. Soon the whole village knows what’s been going on and things come to ahead when Edna decides to report Ashley to the police and he’s arrested.
Megan’s blowing hot and cold with Carl and stomping around Home Farm, snapping at everyone; No change there then! Declan worries about his sister and discovers that the root of the problem is Megan’s grieving for the son she gave up!
Declan sticks his oar in and decides to hire a private detective to find his nephew, without Megan knowing. That’s not going to end well!
It’s a tough week for the Dingles as Zak behavior continues to cause concern. Lisa worries his cancer has returned and Zak does nothing to alleviate her fears. Taking charge, Lisa books an appointment with a consultant making Zak feel guilty for not revealing the truth.
Ali skips her adult literacy classes but lies to her family about them. When she does finally go, she is seen by kids in Sean’s class, who promptly start bullying him about his mum.
Meanwhile Cameron helps out at the Woolpack and pretty soon he and Chas are back in each others arms, Eric tries to apologise to Brenda and sick of Georgia, Priya and Rishi ask to move in with Jai and Nikhil.
