X Factor Contestant Lucy Spraggan Ousted From iTunes! #SupportLucy

lucy spragganX Factor contestant and cheeky lyric swinging singer Lucy Spraggan wowed audiences across the country last Saturday during her audition performing her self penned track ‘Last Night’.

Since the airing of the track fans have gone absolutely bonkers for the singer and her comical single sparking a surge of purchases on iTunes and forcing the song up the charts hot on the heels of the current top spot holders and last years X Factor winners Little Mix. However, news has broken this morning that X Factor show bosses have forced Lucy and iTunes to remove the track as fears where growing that it would overtake sales of ‘Wings‘ by Little Mix and claim the #1 title this week.

Bosses are claiming that there has been a change of show ‘rules’ forbidding any persons auditioning for the show having songs available for purchase.

We are big fans of Lucy and have been since we featured her on site earlier on in the year. If people like a song more than another they should be allowed to have the choice to buy it, regardless on who it’s going to beat to number one!

We will be running an online Twitter campaign to help drum up support for Lucy throughout her time on the show, join the cause now and add #SupportLucy to every X Factor related tweet! It won’t be long before we are seeing Miss Spraggan claiming the Christmas number 1 :)
